Please answer this in paragraph form and post answers to your own blog. Imagine you are someone associated with Alberta: her best friend, her sister, her uncle, Garry Kerr, or anyone you think would have insight into Alberta's case. Now imagine you were offered a book deal to talk about Alberta and her case. What would you call this book? How would you design it? What information would be important to add? Look below to see some examples of book covers for famous nonfiction crime stories to get a sense of the tone publishers go for when designing books about real life murders. It is important to get the tone (author's attitude towards the subject- consider how the person writing it feels about the topic) and mood (the emotion the readers feel while reading a text) accurate- you don't want readers to pick up the book and think it's going to be a happy story because you used bright, cheery images! Go to Canva and pick a book cover template. Choose one you want to use, then change it around by adding author, images, and a title. Also create a back cover with a summary of what the book would contain. If you want free images, Pexels is a great resource. You will be marked on: Front Cover
